PAINT.NET can now be extended with Photoshop filters.
install the PSfilterPDN plug in
navigate to Paint.NET effects folder c:\program files\paint.net\efffects
unzip the plugin and copy PSFilterShim.exe and PSFilterPdn.dll to the effects directory
click ok. When you open PAINT.NET click effects you should see a new 8bf Filter Entry if not repeat previous steps
